exhausted, sore and so very tired

The day following a long trip in the car and a full day at UC Davis Medical Center proved to take it out of Wendy yet again. Yesterday was physically the worst day for Wendy since her surgery. Wendy is in remission, yes but is still recovering from a most horrific surgery and her body still has so far to go. Please continue to hold Wendy up in prayer. She needs your prayers now more than ever. Even though the severity of her situation, a devastating cancer diagnosis, an extensive surgery, and removal of her right lung is behind her prayer for nausea, vomiting, chronic pain, her colon and left lung, infection and peace and protection for their little family is still greatly needed. Sweet Wendy could really use some extra prayer today.

  3. Dear Wendy and family,
I'm so happy to hear that you're in remission. I will keep you close in my prayers tonight, that God continues to care for you and bestow his blessings upon you and all your loved ones. With hardship there is ease, truly, with hardship there is ease. And God willing I hope that comes to you soon. You have such admirable strength, all of you. Just know that God is walking you through this journey and you've touched so many people and we are all praying for you diligently.
    God bless,
    Miranda, Mr. Gonzalez, and family

  5. I don't know you, but the pictures and the blog tell a beautiful story of faith, hope and family. I will lift you up in prayer. Our family has gone through a cancer struggle with my sister this past year. I put the "Pray for Wendy" on my blog today, http://tealshamrock.blogspot.com/

You are part of God's perfect plan. He makes no mistakes.

  6. As one also in remission, I know without the sustaining love and comfort our Heavenly Father provides, this cancer journey would be even more horrendous. "It is not my ability, but my response to God’s ability, that counts." That's a quote of Corrie Ten Boom's which has helped me keep God as my focal point during each step on the recovery road, Wendy. Your miraculous gift of remission means He still has earthly assignments for His glory on-going in your life (ditto for me and countless others) Keep fighting the good fight, Wendy! God bless you always, in all ways. - A Sister in Christ and sister in remission.-gingersnippetz.blogspot.com
