Wendy ~
ReplyDeleteAs always I'm inspired by your strength and courage. That song by Sanctus Real "Whatever You're Doing Inside of Me" makes me think of you and how you've surrendered to God to have Him work inside of you yet one more time! You are something heavenly and are missed terribly. Take care my "neighbor". "Strike" Kat =:-)
Wendy Wendy Wendy! I love you and pray for you numerous times each day...You are amazing and watching God work through you and your family is so humbling and beautiful, as it has been for the past few years that I have known you.
ReplyDeleteMaryAnn Mayfield
Oh, dear sweet Wendy...you are often on my mind throughout each day, and I trust God's hand with every detail of your life. Keep trusting in Him, as your love for our Lord is an amazing example to us all. The Swobe5 continues to pray for your daily needs and we want you and your family to know you will remain in our thoughts and prayers as you continue to heal. We love you, Wendy!
ReplyDeleteMrs.Manzo,
ReplyDeleteI thought you could use a laugh. Here's a joke.
How do you put an elephant in a fridge...open the door, put it in, and close the door! How do you put a giraffe in the fridge...open the door, take out the elephant, put it in the fridge and close the door! All the animals in the jungle are going to a party, but one is missing. Which one is missing...the giraffe, it's still in the fridge! You have to cross a river filled with piranhas. How do you do it...just swim across, they'll be at the party!
And there's your joke! I hope you have a brighter day.
Georgia and the Brights

ReplyDeleteWendy,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're going to have a laptop now to reconnect with the outside world! You are on my mind and heart so often throughout the day! I pray for you often! I am so glad I met you on what was otherwise a horrible day at the Well so that I can pray for you during this time! I continue to pray for healing for you physically and emotionally! Justyn Nelson
I have thought about you so often and prayed for you every time God has brought you to mind. What a long road this has been. Continual pain is the worst place to be. Being in that place myself gives me so much compassion for you.
ReplyDeleteI have been memorizing psalm 34 and these particular verses I have clung to and prayed for you also:
Psalm 34:4-7
I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.
Continue to hold on to God's faithfulness. He is working in and through you to be a witness and a light to the people you are with.
On the days when it feels like you're just waiting for the clock to tick by remember life's most important purpose is to enjoy the presence of God.
Rest in comfort knowing that God is taking care of your family's needs, emotionally and physically.
Praying for deliverance from every fear and that God would give you courage and hope for today.
Love, Jenn Y.

Dear Mrs. Manzo,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that you are sick and in the hospital. My name is Ian and I was a kindergarten reading buddy with your students at RiverBluff last year. You are a great teacher and I told my mom I wanted you for second grade. I hope you feel better soon. I have a shiny gold ribbon on my backpack to remind me to pray for you every day.
Your RiverBluff Friend,

Hi My "Winner"
ReplyDeleteYou Go Girl!! I'm so proud of you. I got to spoil Skyler last saturday, we had so much fun. He played on the computer, "what a smarty," but we knew that, played with the mini cars and race track and even watched Hermie. Mimi said to tell you hi, she loves you and is praying for you. I'm keeping Nana updated twice a day. She said she can't wait til you get home and give you a big gentle nana hug. I'm praying for you day and night. It is all I can do not to get in my 4runner and come see you. So, I'm just hanging out to help out with my handsome nephews
whenever I'm needed. Nana has been able to help out with the boys. She went to dinner with Popie and the boys Thursday night. You can be so proud of your babies, they were so good. Nana couldn't say enough how great they behaved. She is use to my two.
Love you sweetie, keep up the great work!
Love Sissy
Wendy, we are so proud of you! Hang in there and know that so many of us are praying for you and wishing you healing and peace. You are a brave, amazing mother, wife and friend. We love you!
ReplyDeleteCarly and Josh Davis
Wendy,
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing woman you are! We check your blog multiple times a day to get an update on your recovery... as I read in one comment, it was nice to see more "praises" than "prayer requests" this last week!! :-)) You have so many families at RB who are praying for you... I hope you can feel the love. :-)
Your RB friends,
Karen, David, Olivia and Ellie Luchini
Wendy, you have been in my thoughts and prayers constantly. I miss seeing you in the halls at RB. I know the Lord doesn't give us any trial more than we can bear, and He is giving you added strength to bear this. Your strength and faithfulness are an example to us all. Be proud of your progress; every step, every walk is progress. There are SO many of us praying for you, cheering you on, and ready to support you in whatever way we can! Keep working hard, keep the faith, and know that you are loved by so many!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Kelly Mahoney
Wendy--I am so inspired by your faith, courage and strength. I have learned the true meaning of "pray without ceasing" as I pray for you and your family several times a day I began following the blog. I heard about your blog from my daughter, Rebecca Freshwater. I am honored to have had the opportunity to be part of those in prayer for you and your family. Thank you for sharing your journey. Rhonda
ReplyDeleteDear Wendy,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I want you to know I pray for you and your family every day. I do not know you and we will most likely never meet, but please know a perfect stranger wants you to get well and go home to your beautiful family. A day does not go by that I don't pull up your blog to see what amazing things you have accomplished. I cheer your successes and cry for your setbacks. I know the day will come I won't be coming here to this blog and I can't wait.
By the outpouring of love of support you must be an amazing person.
I am a family friend of Tiffany Villard. Her Mom Sally Tarica Burch has been a friend of mine for 20 years and thru her prayer chain I was blessed with getting to send my love and prays for your recovery (along with others in the hospital)
Last week I was telling my daughter about you and suddenly she said "I know about her" A friend of a friend, that she had gone on a hike with that day, knows you and was on a pray chain as well. God is everywhere.
It's amazing what knowing a couple of people will do. Keep working hard and know everyone who knows you (and some who don't) will cherish the day you go home to your loving husband and beautiful children.
God Bless you, Sharon Matchett
Hi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteAlthough we have never had the privilege to be in one of your classes, we are part of the River Bluff family who is continuing to pray for your strength and healing. We look forward to reading the blog (especially the praises), and can't wait for the day that you get to come home to your boys and the rest of your friends and family. Be strong! You are an inspiration to us all!!
Love,
The Schofield Family (Wil, Stephanie, Kate, Abby & Emma)
