results and upcoming

Wendy met with her surgeon at UC Davis today. It was an informative and productive appointment. She got to see the most recent CT scan in great detail and the doctor explained exactly where the tumors are and what will have to happen to remove them.

There is a tumor pressed against her liver, one against her heart, and the largest one is pressed against her right lung. They will all be removed during a very long and extensive surgery. They will have to take a "slice" of her liver as they remove that tumor and her entire right lung, as the tumor touching it is so large. They may have to remove a piece of the heart but won't know exactly how much until they're operating. She will know her surgery date tomorrow and will spend about a week at UC Davis after the operation.

Pray...
  • Wendy is filled with a renewed physical strength these last days before her surgery.
  • She and Micah sleep well after receiving such overwhelming news.
  • That Wendy feels no fear or worry as her surgery date approaches.

I am strong for all things in the One who constantly infuses strength in me.
Philippians 4:13
